Here Come the Bruins!, a blog about, you guessed it, ice hockey, has posted a hilarious and, in our opinion, fairly accurate article about this year’s playoff finalists: A Star Wars Guide to the Stanley Cup Finals.

By hilarious, I say, just look at the disclaimer! “Nerdiness Levels In This Entry May Be Hazardous To Children And The Elderly. Do not read if you are pregnant, on medication, or recovering from a WoW addiction.” By accurate, just look at how the Penguins have been cast as the underdog rebels who eventually triumph (Editor: um, go Pens!).

There are snarky comparisons, such as “Galactic Empire = Detroit: A fading empire, ruthless and hopelessly corrupt, concerned only with hoarding power and influence, yet unable to adjust when challenged by smaller, smarter opponents. And that’s just GM.” The post includes a handful of separated-at-birth images you may agree with, or just laugh at.
